About this calendar
Each month holds 28 days. Month numbers run from Initiation (1) through Awakening (12), then Releasing (13). Gate Day is the entire UTC date of the December winter solstice, between Healing and Vision. Vision Day 1 starts at 00:00 UTC the following day. Extra Gate days, when needed, follow Healing Day 28 before the solstice Gate. All Gate days are outside the monthly weeks and archetype cycle.
The sequence after Gate is Vision, Stewardship, Awakening, Releasing, Initiation, Grounding, Distinction, Bonding, Expression, Refinement, Balancing, Descent, Healing. Cycle labels use the starting winter Gate year; January and month 1 do not reset the cycle.
Every month begins on Saturday. Weeks 1–4 are Fire, Earth, Air, Water. Weekday planets, Saturday through Friday: Saturn, Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus. Liminal weekdays may differ from civil weekdays. Your 28 archetypes repeat monthly. Seasonal markers follow the Sun’s apparent geocentric ecliptic longitude: the equinoxes and solstices plus cross-quarter angles, using published observatory predictions to the minute. Festival names label those astronomical crossings, not traditional celebration dates. Monthly rulership, zodiac, and modality await your mappings. Verified range: December 21, 2024–December 20, 2030. Winter means the Northern Hemisphere December solstice for all visitors.
